BRASILIA, Brazil (AP) — Brazil’s tourism minister has resigned amid allegations of misusing public funds.
Pedro Novais is the fifth minister to resign since June. No replacement has been named.
The newspaper Folha de S. Paulo ran articles accusing the minister of allowing his wife to use a government driver for errands. He’s also accused of using congressional funds to pay for a maid.
