The No. 2 Tigers ran over Northwestern State in a 49-3 rout in front of 92,405 fans in this season’s first Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.
After the game, Northwestern State coach Bradley Dale Peveto said LSU is, “definitely the number one team in the it.”
Senior linebacker Ryan Baker didn’t play due to a violation of team rules, but will be back for the Mississippi State game.
