Elizabeth Siadous, 18, plans to seek a permanent restraining order against ex-boyfriend Andrew Lowery, 21, according to her lawyer John Delgado.
Siadous took out a temporary restraining order against Lowery following an incident at Shady’s Bar on Aug. 19, where Lowery was allegedly involved in an altercation with several LSU football players.
Siadous wrote in her initial petition for protection that Lowery followed her to the bar that night, yelled at her and cornered her. The petition also said Lowery hit one of Siadous’ friends.
“We are seeking to make that a permanent restraining order,” Delgado said. “The way it works is that there is a temporary restraining order and then you can go to court to have it extended, first on a preliminary basis for 18 months and then ultimately a permanent restraining order, and we are proceeding with that.”
A surveillance video from Shady’s Bar surfaced on Tuesday that showed Lowery and Siadous in an argument, before Lowery followed her out of the bar.
Delgado said the video “speaks for itself.”
“If you look at it, it shows what it shows,” he said.
Delgado said BRPD has not attempted to contact him or Siadous to the best of his knowledge.
“As far as I know, she has not spoken with them,” He said. “As of yesterday she had not spoken with them. They had not called to talk to her.”
