More than 650 University students spent Saturday painting, cleaning and sprucing up schools in the East Baton Rouge Parish School District as part of Community Bound, an annual program aiming to illuminate the impact of community service, especially for incoming freshmen.
Freshmen, upperclassmen, faculty and staff comprised the team who volunteered at Baton Rouge Magnet High, Westdale Heights Academic Elementary Magnet, Glasgow Middle School, South Boulevard Elementary, Westminster Elementary and Jefferson Terrace Elementary.
