Baton Rouge police searched senior quarterback Jordan Jefferson’s off-campus apartment Wednesday afternoon, according to Sgt. Don Stone.
Stone would not disclose what specific items police searched for, but that they did obtain a search warrant.
“We’re searching his house looking for certain items to either prove our disprove the allegations against him,” Stone said.
Tiger TV obtained video of the incident, which can be seen here.
According to a press release, the police took bags of evidence from the apartment, and also took a DNA swab from Jefferson.
The search comes in connection to the much-publicized bar fight early Friday morning outside Shady’s bar. Jefferson, freshman wide receiver Jarvis Landry, sophomore linebacker Josh Johns and sophomore offensive lineman Chris Davenport were implicated in the fight, but no charges have been filed or arrests made.
All four met with police on Tuesday to give statements. After the meeting, police said in a press conference the investigation could last up to 10 more days.
