LSU senior golfer John Peterson won the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf individual championship, marking the first time in 70 years an LSU golfer has taken the title.
Peterson was also chosen as a PING First-Team All-American, according to the Golf Coaches Association of America.
LSU freshman golfer Austin Ernst won the women’s title last month, making LSU the first school in history to win both the men’s and women’s individual championship.
