Texas A&M men and women sweep team track titles in parallel finishes.
Texas A&M’s men and women’s victory at the 2011 Track and Field Championship in Des Moines marked the first dual three-peat ever in college history.
Both men and women clinched the title with the 1, 600 meter relay. A&M’s Tabarie Henry beat out LSU’s Riker Hylton and A&M’s Jessica Beard flew past Oregon to win the title.
LSU’s men ranked No. 4 below the Aggies, Florida and Florida State. LSU’s women ranked No. 3 behind the Aggies and Oregon.
