LSU will announce the new baseball pitching coach Friday in a press conference set for 1:30 p.m.
The newest edition to the baseball coaching staff will replace former Pitching Coach David Grewe, who left the team at the end of the season.
Several media outlets including The Times Picayune and Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports expect LSU to hire Baltimore Orioles minor league pitching coordinator Alan Dunn.
Dunn formally interviewed for the job Thursday, and is considered to be a front runner for the position.
Dunn has been with the Orioles since 2007.
