Dining at the University has gone through many changes this semester, garnering mixed reviews from students.
Over the summer, LSU Dining staff redesigned The 5 dining hall menu to offer students healthier options, while removing many popular but less healthy items.
Menu changes were motivated by a combination of student and parent feedback and industry dining trends, Director of Residential Dining Charlie Casrill said Sept. 28. Last semester, staff at The 5 noticed the majority of foods offered were fried or had similar unhealthy qualities, he said.
