The Master Plan Open House scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The University in partnership with NBBJ is developing the plan that will “development and capital investment on the Flagship Campus over the next ten years and beyond,” including transit and parking, pedestrian connection and architecture, according to the Master Plan website.

The Roger Hadfield Ogden Honors College cancelled a lecture by sociology professor Mark Schafer scheduled for tonight called “Understanding Rural Louisiana: Diversity, Trends and Challenges.”
An email from the Honors College said the event will be rescheduled.

Tiger Trails will halt operation at 6 p.m. and Campus Transit will not be avaliable tonight. Both expect to be operate normally tomorrow.
The Student Union will remain open with normal hours, and the Chick-fil-a and McDonald’s will continue serving food.

The UREC official Twitter account announced the facility will be closing at 3 p.m. and plans to re-open tomorrow morning, though times for the re-opening have yet to be released.

The LSU Student Health center will remain open during its normal hours until 5 p.m. The Center will not cancel any medical, mental health or wellness appointments.

Manship School of Mass Communication cancelled its networking night scheduling for this evening. The School will discuss rescheduling and update students.
The Student Activities Board also cancelled tonight’s movie night.

Classes will be canceled beginning at 3 p.m. with the University closing at 3:30 p.m. because of inclement weather, according to an email from the Division of Strategic Communications.
The dining halls and Campus Transit will continue to operate as usual but all other University officers will be closed. Officials will continue to monitor the situation and will “make a determination regarding Friday classes later tonight.”
