The Student Health Center Pharmacy will close Monday and reopen some time in August said SHC Associate Director Julie Hupperich.
As The Manship School News Service previously reported, the pharmacy will reopen in the same space under private ownership, the details of which have yet to be decided.
SHC Executive Director D’Ann Morris previously told The Manship School News Service limited insurance options factored into a loss of revenue and that she would not continue using student funds for an unsustainable enterprise.
Pharmacy employees were informed of the decision in mid-August.
Students will soon receive informative emails on what to do with their prescriptions in the meantime, Hupperich said.
