Jun Seba, better known by his stage name “Nujabes,” was a Japanese hip-hop producer and founder of Hydeout Productions. Perhaps best known for his work on the soundtrack for Samurai Champloo, Nujabes mixed modern hip hop styles and traditional jazz samples to create his signature sound. Throughout his career, Nujabes released four studio albums. His fifth and final album, Spiritual State was released in December 2011, almost two years after his untimely death in February 2010.
