LSU and newly hired head coach Ed Orgeron have parted ways with special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto, as first reported by 247Sports.com.
Orgeron and LSU confirmed the report Sunday in a news release.
“We appreciate Bradley Dale and the work he put into this program,” Orgeron said in the statement. “However, at this time we have decided to move in a different direction with our special teams.”
Bradley Dale Peveto informed his recruits of the move today. They tell me he told them to stick with #LSU no matter what. Stand up guy.

Peveto, 53, was a linebackers coach and special teams coordinator under former coach Les Miles, who was fired the day after LSU’s 13-18 loss at Auburn. He solely became special teams coordinator under Orgeron.
Peveto was a member of LSU’s 2007 National Championship coaching staff and was in his second season with the Tigers after rejoining the program in 2014 after the 2013 season.
