Two Alabama students broke into LSU’s Tiger Stadium overnight Friday and scratched the eye of the tiger at midfield, according to ESPN’s Marty Smith.
Alabama students Timothy Foley, 18, and Sean McGinity, 18, broke into the football stadium — which is set to host No. 13 LSU and No. 1 Alabama at 7 p.m. Saturday. They were issued a summons and released by the LSU Police Department, according to ESPN.
Smith tweeted he spoke with David Taylor — an assistant athletic director at LSU and game, event manager for the athletic department — who said the two men jumped a fence and were arrested inside the stadium. Taylor said he was called at 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
