Ed Orgeron isn’t worried about Hurricane Matthew. He’s focused on LSU and “Turnover Wednesday,” today’s practice theme, he said.
Matthew is expected to roll over Gainesville, Florida on Friday, the day before LSU meets No. 18 Florida at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Here’s more on Hurricane Matthew and how the game will not be moved to Baton Rouge.
Fournette likely out; Clapp, Moreau ruled likely unavailable
Leonard Fournette (ankle) missed his second game this season in LSU’s 42-7 win against Missouri on Saturday and hasn’t practice this week, Orgeron says.
“Doesn’t look like Leonard is going to play. We don’t know yet. He hasn’t practiced yet,” the coach said.
As for left guard Will Clapp — who was seen on LSU’s campus in a hefty right shoulder sling on Tuesday — he’s not expected to play, either, and neither will sophomore tight end Foster Moreau, Orgeron expects.
“I do believe Will is going to be out the next couple of weeks,” he said. “Foster Moreau will be out this week, but I’m not sure of that yet.”
