Junior running back Leonard Fournette will sit versus Jacksonville State according to Bryan Lazare of Rivals.com.
Fournette was considered a game-time decision by LSU coach Les Miles and when asked about his likelihood of playing Saturday Miles said “as far as he knew.”

Fournette was present warm-ups and particpated in a few drills before a lighting delay forced both teams to leave the field.

The 6-foot-1, 235 pound running back injured his ankle in the Tigers 16-14 loss to Wisconsin and missed time during fall camp because of the same injury.
