The LSU Fieldhouse opened to Department of Health and Hospitals staff to set up a medical special needs shelter at 1 p.m. Sunday, according to LSU Media Relations. The area is not currently open to patients. The University will provide an update when the information is available.
LSU Residential Life posted that students planning to move in on Sunday or Monday plan to move in “on another, more suitable day,” according to the department’s website.
The University sent out an EOC message earlier today announcing campus would be closed Monday.
