Folk rocker and songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff hails from rural Missouri, but he gained his following in the Denver music scene. Rateliff has been writing songs since he was a teenager and released his first album back in 2007. Since then the musician and vocalist has made several solo albums and, most recently, an album backed by a band called The Night Sweats. Together Rateliff and the six piece group fuse elements of americana, soul, blues and folk music. Rateliff carries the act and his past solo albums with his unique voice, which evokes emotion like few others (especially on songs like “I Am” and “Don’t Get Too Close”).
