The LSU baseball program is no stranger to national television, but the addition of the SEC Network and ESPN’s online streaming services helped facilitate more coverage last season. The 2016 baseball season will be no different for the Tigers.
On Thursday, the Southeastern Conference announced more than 90 SEC baseball games will be shown on the ESPN family of networks, including 11 LSU baseball games.
The Tigers will get their first national coverage on Friday, March 18, as part of the “Bases Loaded” special on the opening night of conference play.
Including the Tigers’ home game against Alabama at 8:00 p.m., the “Bases Loaded” special will feature all seven conference games, rotating between the games as they’re currently airing. LSU fans, though, can watch the Tigers against the Crimson Tide live, with no interruptions, on the SEC Network+.
