Willie Allen, a four-star rated offensive tackle from John Curtis Christian High School, officially committed to LSU, he announced at ceremony on Thursday morning.
Allen is the 21st commitment to the Tigers’ 2016 class, which includes four student-athletes already enrolled in classes. With the addition of Allen, LSU regained 247Sports’ No. 1 recruiting class, leaping Ohio State.
Allen, a 6-foot-7, 300-pound lineman, is the No. 9 overall player from Louisiana and the No. 15 offensive tackle in the nation, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
The New Orleans native chose the Tigers over TCU, Ole Miss, Auburn and Georgia.
