In LSU’s first bowl practice preparing for the Citrus Bowl versus No. 13 Louisville on Dec. 31, Leonard Fournette was absent. But, LSU had a handful of new jerseys present, as well.
LSU will practice Friday and Saturday before taking off on Sunday and will return to practice Monday through Thursday of next week. The Tigers are off Dec. 23-25 for Christmas Break.
The Citrus Bowl between LSU and No. 13 Louisville will kickoff at 10 a.m. on New Years Eve and will be televised on ABC.
PRACTICE REPORT NOTES
- Freshman offensive lineman Willie Allen, who injured his leg in fall camp, and defensive lineman Andre Anthony (ineligible) were present for Thursday’s practice for the first time this season. Allen had not practiced since fall camp and Thursday was Anthony’s first practice at LSU.
- Fullback J.D. Moore donned a cast on his right wrist and performed in running back/fullback unit drills Thursday.
- Senior defensive lineman Christian LaCouture, who tore his ACL in fall camp, was dressed for Thursday’s practice.
