The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating the disappearance of a University graduate student.
Carrie Lynn Yoder, 26, was last seen Monday night at Winn Dixie, police at Yoder’s home said Wednesday.
Police also said the back door was left open and groceries were inside but not put away, while other groceries were left in her locked car.
Yoder lived alone in her home at 4250 Dodson Avenue. She is a doctoral student in plant biology and she works in the Life Sciences Annex.
Police are treating this case as a missing persons investigation but investigators from the serial killer task force and the State Police Crime Lab also were at the scene.
Police ask anyone with information about Yoder’s whereabouts to call the Missing Persons Division at 389-3844 or BRPD at 389-2000.
