A Veterinary School staff member informed students through a schoolwide e-mail of a former student who has been reported missing by her family.
Family and friends of Colleen Price reported Price missing Jan. 15.
Price attended the Veterinary School last semester but did not register for classes this semester.
Price is 25 years old, six feet tall and has curly brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a sunburst tattoo on her ankle.
Kathy Price last saw her daughter Jan. 14 at 9:30 p.m. Colleen left her Lafayette home without identification, her cell phone, credit cards, cash or her epilepsy medication.
Price has been on medication for epilepsy for the past nine years, Kathy Price said.
“Without her medication, she can be having seizures and may not be able to tell someone who she is,” Price said.
Family and law enforcement have looked at telephone and cell phone records but have not observed any indication she contacted someone to pick her up.
“Our main concern is that if someone tried to help her, we just want to know she is safe,” Price said.
