The LSU basketball team will try to end a three-game losing streak Sunday when it hosts No. 9 Kentucky at the PMAC at 3 p.m.
The Tigers (17-7, 7-6 Southeastern Conference) have fallen on hard times after previously winning five straight SEC games.
They lost to Auburn at home and Vanderbilt and Mississippi State on the road, and now must face a hot Wildcats (20-4, 10-3 SEC) team. They beat Tennessee, 92-60, on Wednesday.
Injured forwards Jaime Lloreda and Regis Koundjia returned to action Wednesday against Mississippi State, but did not lend much help, as MSU blew away the Tigers, 84-58.
They are expected to play Sunday in the nationally-televised game on CBS.
LSU will also honor former basketball coach Dale Brown at halftime.
All fans are encouraged to wear gold.
