Mike the Tiger’s cage, usually found behind his habitat near the PMAC, is no longer in its usual location.
Mike’s spokesperson didn’t immediately respond to comment.
The cage’s moving comes with the recent news that LSU will be bringing a live tiger back to the sidelines of Tiger Stadium for Saturday’s game against Alabama, though the tiger will reportedly not be Mike VII.
The tiger will be caged on the sideline and wheeled around the field as part of the pregame festivities.
According to reports, the tiger that will appear on Saturday’s full name is Omar Bradley and is owned by Mitchel Kalmanson of Florida. Kalmanson has also been under federal investigation for mistreatment of his animals.
