TINA | Raising Cane’s River Center
The Tina Turner Musical will start at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening, at the Baton Rouge River Center Theater. This 12 Grammy Award winning show has tickets for purchase on the Raising Cane’s River Center website.
The show is about a woman who became the Queen of Rock ‘n Roll, and how she defied social norms. The musical’s success has been highly commemorated due to its fast selling tickets.

Restaurant Management | LSU Business Education Complex
If you have a passion for the culinary arts and the business aspects that are entailed with owning and maintaining a profession in the culinary world, this program may be of interest to you.
Located on the third floor of the Business Education Complex, a Restaurant Management Leadership Development Program is being offered to help aspiring individuals achieve this profession. At 4:30 p.m., an information session is being held where students are able to connect with faculty and current students involved in the program.

Marketing Information | LSU Business Education Complex
A marketing internship information session is being held at the LSU Business Education Complex. Starting at 11:30 a.m., an informative session covering LSU marketing department internship opportunities will be discussed as well as real-world marketing experience that could possibly earn LSU students class credit.

William Clark Green | Texas Club
William Clark Green’s Whole Lotta Lubbock Tour is coming to perform for one night at the Texas Club. Starting at 9 p.m., a live country music performance can be enjoyed by purchasing tickets on the official Texas Club website. This artist is known for cultivating the Texas country music scene as he played without a label for years and succeeded.

Block and Bridle Rodeo | Louis Mouch Arena
The 86th annual Block and Bridle rodeo is Nov. 22 at the Louis A. Mouch Jr. Multi-Purpose Facility, located at 210 Turner Drive. The LSU Block and Bridle Club is hosting this open rodeo to benefit cancer services in the Baton Rouge area. This rodeo is open to all college students and event specifics can be found from the Block and Bridle Club at LSU.
Saturday, Nov. 23
LIT Run | Riverfront Downtown Baton Rouge
Hosted by the Family Project Inc., a 5k run is being held after sunset in Downtown Baton Rouge on the Riverfront. The event starts at 5 p.m., at the Riverfront Plaza and City Dock on 300 S River Road.
Participants are encouraged to wear their brightest attire and glow sticks as they run along historic sites, open vendors and live music. The proceeds from this run will be donated to underperforming programs and the GED program testing center.

Joanne Shaw Taylor | Manship Theatre
Joanne Shaw Taylor and her band are performing songs from her studio album “Nobody’s Fool,” and her newest album “Heavy Soul”. Located at the Manship Theatre on 100 Lafayette Street, Taylor’s guitar and vocals can be admired in her live performance starting at 7 p.m.
