Top Golf Networking Social | Topgolf
Hancock Whitney, Livingston and Young Ascencion Professionals are in collaboration to present a night of networking with aspiring professionals. Free play will be granted on all bays on the third floor. Free d’oeuvres and drinks will be granted to the first 200 individuals to RSVP.
This social event is a new workforce where individuals have access to meet and speak with established working professionals in the Greater Baton Rouge area. The event is from 4:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Pre-registration is highly encouraged.

Presidential Election | United States of America
This fundamental right for every U.S. citizen takes place throughout the entirety of the day on Tuesday. Voter ID requirements in Louisiana are that a valid ID must be present to administrators upon casting. Polling locations are specific to every individual. This is the final day for votes to be casted in which the next leader of the U.S. is elected.

Holiday Sides | Red Stick Spice Company
Lili Courtney is offering a hands-on cooking experience at Red Stick Spice Company, located at 660 Jefferson Hwy from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at Red Stick Spice’s website and spots are limited.
This cooking experience presents easy recipes that make perfect sides for this holiday season. A few highlighted recipes cover Butter Harissa, Garlic Panko Pistachio Zahtar and a few others that will add variety to your dishes this season.

First Thursdays | Pelican to Mars
Pelican to Mars and Midcity Makers collaborate to create the First Thursdays Event in Midcity. Starting at 5 p.m., located at 2678 Government St., the celebration of local businesses commences.
Local businesses including restaurants, specialized services and more join local artisans and bars to cultivate an celebratory experience for Midcity Baton Rouge. This block party creates a creative atmosphere offering food, live music and unique beverages.

Guided Tour | LSU Museum of Art
Join the LSU Museum of Art for a 45 minute guided tour of new exhibits. Led by LSU MOA educator and the public programs manager Callie Smith, a tour featuring the exhibits “In a New Light: American Impressionism” and “Rembrant, Goya, and Durer” will be viewable.
This tour is created for individuals of all ages and will be offered from 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. The tour will pick up again from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Admission is free.
Saturday, Nov. 9
LSU vs Alabama | Tiger Stadium
LSU is playing its long time SEC rival the University of Alabama in Tiger Stadium this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ESPN’s College GameDay will be making an appearance at LSU this Saturday prior to kickoff.
The game is currently sold out, but re-sale tickets can be purchased through Seat Geek.

The Corner | Cary Saurage Community Arts Center
From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., located at 233 St. Ferdinand St., The Corner is being hosted by Creatives for the Culture. The Corner is an event featuring a diverse platform dedicated to showcasing Black culture through art, music, literature, dance and more.
The Culture is working in partnership with the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge Incubation Project to expand the expression of culture in the greater Baton Rouge area.
