LSU will be providing fans with LED wristbands at the Tigers’ heavily-anticipated matchup with Ole Miss on Saturday.
Similar to those found at concerts, the wristbands will be synchronized with a stadium-wide LED lightshow, enabled by new lights installed over the offseason in Tiger Stadium.
Fans can find their wristbands on their seats in the lower bowl, and they’ll also be available in clubs and suites. Fans sitting in the upper deck can collect wristbands on the stadium concourse.
According to LSU, the wristbands will light up during “Callin’ Baton Rouge” both pregame and before the fourth quarter, during the band’s intro, during LSU’s intro video and during the “Saturday Night in Death Valley” video.
The wristbands are part of LSU’s 100-year anniversary of Tiger Stadium, which was first built in 1924, which will be celebrated all throughout Saturday’s game.
The end zones will be painted with a special design for the centennial, and LSU’s players will have a special decal on their athletes.
LSU will also honor nearly 150 former players in attendance for the game, while the band will have a special halftime performance in recognition of the anniversary.
The game against Ole Miss is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The LED wristbands were provided by Our Lady of the Lake Health.
