Dinosaur Jr. | Manship Theatre Shaw Center For The Arts
Renowned alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr. is coming to Baton Rouge’s Manship Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Infamous for its hardcore guitar, this punk trio will produce an exciting show. Fans of Dinosaur Jr. may also like Black Sabbath, Sonic Youth, Pavement, The Jesus and Mary Chain and more. The band LCLS will open the show, and tickets can be purchased here.

Taylor Swift Trivia | Tap 65
As part of its Eras Event Tour, Tap 65 is hosting Taylor Swift Trivia from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Team up with friends and compete to see who knows the most about the iconic pop singer. There will be food and Taylor Swift themed drinks. Entry is free, and all ages are welcome to attend.

Rock N Rowe | Perkins Rowe
Recurring weekly until October 24, Rock N Rowe is back! The V-Tones will be performing on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Town Square. There’s no entry fee, but attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. In the event of rain, the show will be moved into the Great Hall.

Brew at the Zoo | BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo
Wear your favorite animal print outfit and enjoy drinks, food and live music at the 10th annual Brew at the Zoo from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Baton Rouge Zoo. The 13th Gate Opening Night | The 13th Gate Haunted House
Baton Rouge’s iconic haunted house opens for the Halloween season on Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Rated one of the top haunted houses in the country, The 13th Gate delivers top tier costumes, makeup, set design and acting. General Admission tickets are $35, and VIP tickets are $75 and can be purchased here.

Baton Rouge SERA Black Rodeo | Raising Cane’s River Center
Celebrating African American cowboy heritage and featuring bull riding, barrel racing and steer wrestling, the SERA Black Rodeo will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Raising Cane’s River Center. Open to all ages, the event will also have food and music. Tickets can be purchased here, and event parking is $10.

Oktoberfest | Live Oak at Cedar Lodge
Enjoy beer and food tastings from local restaurants at the 3rd annual Oktoberfest from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Live Oak at Cedar Lodge. Some of the restaurants include Cecelia, Creole Bistro, Beausoleil, Our Mom’s Restaurant & Bar, SoLou, Modesto and others. The event will also have a costume contest, stein holding contest, live entertainment and other games. All proceeds will benefit the Louisiana Restaurant Association, and tickets can be purchased here.
