A Thursday morning message broadcast from LSU announced that the shelter-in-place order had been lifted.

A separate message broadcast sent a couple of hours later announced the university’s campus and offices would be open for normal operations on Friday.

This includes the Law Center, Vet School, LSU Online, the University Laboratory School and the Early Childhood Education Preschool.

Students unable to attend should communicate with their professors or supervisors.

Students and residents were advised to remain cautious traversing on and around campus.
