LSU men’s basketball announced on Instagram that its head coach Matt McMahon and star player Trace Young will offer free golf cart rides and Raising Cane’s to students at noon on Wednesday September 25.
Head coach McMahon, 46, joined the Tigers in March 2022 after Will Wade was dismissed the same month. McMahon was formerly the men’s basketball coach at Murray State before heading to Baton Rouge and accepting a seven year contract.
Young, 23, is a fifth year senior basketball player and content creator at LSU. The Austin native focuses his content on basketball, fashion and his Christian lifestyle. Young has over 144,000 Instagram followers and over 225,000 on TikTok.
