With every touchdown comes a celebration, and LSU’s celebrations are arguably some of the best in the country.
We combed through the files of 41 touchdowns this season. From the Macarena trip out to the dougie, the Tigers really showed off their moves. Here are nine of the best celebrations we saw in the end zone.
Kyren Lacy’s trip out versus USC
Despite a season-opening loss to the Trojans, the Tigers started the season off strong with a notorious trip out celebration in the end zone from none other than Lacy, a fifth-year senior wide receiver.
Lacy’s finger guns versus South Carolina
Nothing, not even a road game, can stop the Tigers from celebrating in the end zone. Lacy’s finger guns and Griddy celebration at South Carolina is definitely an unforgettable one from this season.
Caden Durham’s hit the quan versus UCLA
For Durham’s first touchdown in Tiger Stadium, the freshman running back showed out with a throwback dance by hitting the quan. We may have lost Rich Homie Quan this year, but he’ll forever live on in this touchdown celebration.
Garrett Nussmeier’s dougie versus South Alabama
Tiger fans were treated with Nussmeier running the ball for scores against South Alabama not once, but twice. After one of his touchdowns, the redshirt junior quarterback capitalized on the rare celebration opportunity by hitting the dougie.
Aaron Anderson’s Griddy versus South Alabama
After Anderson stretched out for the touchdown against South Alabama, the redshirt sophomore wide receiver threw the ball for a spin and hit the Griddy. Although this is a common celebration, something about Anderson’s dance just itches the right part of the brain.
Lacy’s ‘The Tommy’ versus Ole Miss
One thing all Tiger fans know and love is the famous Tommy White home run celebration. What’s better than hitting ‘The Tommy’ after a home run? Hitting ‘The Tommy’ after making a game-winning touchdown in overtime. Shoutout to Lacy for bringing this one to Death Valley.
Josh Williams’ kiss the sky versus Vanderbilt
For a little change of pace, we’re giving some recognition to this rather simple celebration from Williams. The graduate student running back scored a season-high two touchdowns against Vanderbilt and celebrated one of them by blowing kisses to the sky.
Lacy’s Macarena trip out versus Vanderbilt
Now, we already recognized a trip out celebration at the beginning of this list, but what makes this one special is the addition of the Macarena. Something about this celebration just hits different.
Lacy and Anderson’s “Bad Boys for Life” versus Oklahoma
This one is definitely up there in the top three celebrations of the season. After Lacy’s touchdown against Oklahoma, he and Anderson replicated the iconic “Bad Boys for Life” move.
