The beginning of 2025 brings a fresh start and many new goals. LSU students share what they hope to accomplish in the new year.
“I just want to be more consistent in everything I do—from studies to the gym, to my faith,” said Seth Jackson.
“My New Year’s resolution is to be mindful of the words I put into the universe, how I speak about myself and others, and to speak positivity, wealth, and goodness unto everyone,” said Kaytin Alexis Molino.
“My New Year’s resolution is to stop giving people so many chances. They don’t deserve it, so I’m going to stop doing it,” said Ariana Patterson.
“My New Year’s resolution is to stop cursing so much,” said Olivia Hays.
“My New Year’s resolution is to make good grades,” said Kennedy Scimmons.
“My New Year’s resolution is to evolve more as a person and start doing what I want to do when I want to do it,” said Alyssa Stevenson.
“My New Year’s resolution is to get closer to God, read the Bible, and build more of a connection,” said Gabriel Moore.
“My New Year’s resolution is to read the Bible quite a bit more. I did a Bible recap of 365 days, and I want to keep up with that. I also want to get good grades as I did well last semester and I want to keep up with that,” said Brett Angelette.
“My New Year’s resolution is to go to the gym more and eat better,” said Alex Chandler.
“My New Year’s resolution is to wake up early, really focus on school, and get closer to God,” said Khloie Altentaler.
“My New Year’s resolution is to be a better person and help those around me,” said Javier Williams.
“My New Year’s resolution is to have more self-discipline and hold myself accountable this year. I feel like I let myself slack in 2024, so this year, I’m not letting that happen,” said Jordyn Serra Johnson.
