The LSU Tiger Girls placed sixth at Universal Dance Association College & Dance Team National Championships in Orlando.
The Tiger Girls competed in the National Championship finals Sunday night. Their hip-hop dance this year was to Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River.” They are known nationally for their dynamic choreography and execution in this category.
They finished behind five other schools, including UNLV, who took first place.
Last year, the Tiger Girls took the world by storm with their dance to “Smooth Criminal” by Michael Jackson. The 2024 team left Orlando as national champions with a dance that was talked about for the whole year leading up to this year’s finals. Prior to the 2025 finals, the Tiger Girls were not just the team to beat but the team everyone was obsessing over.
The Tiger Girls were also UDA champions for hip-hop in 2022.
