LSU announced in an email Wednesday morning that campus will remain closed Thursday, with classes to continue in a format decided by each professor.
The closure follows Tuesday’s snow, which is on record as Baton Rouge’s second-largest snowfall.
Due to the physical closures this week, LSU adjusted dates on the academic calendar. The last day to get a 90% refund of tuition and fees is Jan. 24, Jan. 27 at 4:30 p.m. is the last day to drop a class without receiving a “W” and Jan. 28 at 4:30 is the last day to add classes.
These changes do not impact the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, the School of Veterinary Medicine or LSU Online programs.
The email recommends students continue to watch the registration calendar for updates. It also recommends students stay off the roads and bundle up if they have to go outside.
