The highly anticipated matchup between No. 5 LSU and No. 2 South Carolina has been postponed.

The postponement from Thursday at 7 p.m. to Friday at 4 p.m. is due to the winter storm that swept through the southern parts of the U.S., especially Louisiana, on Tuesday. It has given  The matchup between the powerhouses will still be aired on ESPN.

LSU will keep its home game against Texas A&M on Sunday at 3 p.m. CT.

The game will feature star power at all positions, with two legendary coaches and unbeaten statuses on the line.

The Tigers look for revenge following a seven-point loss against the Gamecocks at home last season.
