With a total of four new catchers, Coach Josh Jordan, had his hands full trying to get them up to LSU standards, but with the talent that they already had, it didn’t take too much effort.
One catcher in particular, Cade Arrambide, had caught fans’ eyes as being the only freshmen out of the four. It’s not uncommon to see freshmen starters at LSU, but some wonder if he is up for the challenge.
“You can’t control your outcomes, until you are in control of yourself, and he is in control,” Coach Jordan said.
To add fuel to the fire, all four catchers have also never played in the SEC, which can add a lot of stress on not only the players but the coach too. But, Coach Jordan is always in their ears throughout games, and helping give them feedback on how they are performing.
“These guys have put in the work, I’m fully prepared for them to show me what they can do in the SEC,” Coach Jordan said.
