After an intense matchup against the Mississippi Bulldogs, the Tigers were able to pull off a well fought win with a final score of 81-76.
With there being over 15 fouls called in the game, the second half took a pretty physical turn. The Bulldogs and the Tigers butt heads pretty intensely and one of the Bulldogs even made a face at Head Coach Kim Mulkey, mocking her for yelling at the refs.
But this did not detoure the Tigers, they kept their heads straight and prevailed. Even with some issues on offense and on defense. It seemed in the first half the Tigers had the game in their pocket, but the second half said otherwise.
There are many issues on both ends of the ball that still need to be worked on as the Tigers prepare to take on the Missouri Tigers on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
