Love is in the air! Tiger TV went to Free Speech Alley to ask students Valentine’s Day questions and the answers were heartfelt and relatable.
When talking about their plans for Valentine’s Day, people talk about spending time with friends and romantic partners, while some students shared they have no plans.
“Just going to be a Friday for me,” student Mark Reese said.
The answers were mixed when asked if Valentine’s Day is overrated. While some find the holiday to be exclusionary, others see it as a day to celebrate all kinds of love.
“…. it’s a holiday about love, and we should celebrate love,” Anabella Campbell said.
Stories about people’s best Valentine’s Day were both funny and adorable.
“I think my best Valentine’s was when I came home from a day at school to my mom getting me a heart-shaped pizza,”student Reese Linton said.
Everyone’s closing remarks were heartfelt and hopeful as they wished all at home a happy Valentine’s day.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, love yourself before you love anyone else,” said Addie Sullivan.
