The LSU Softball team started off slow and then dominated the Mississippi State Bulldogs in game two of the series.
The Bulldogs gave up seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning after leading the Tigers through the first three innings.
After a successful first inning for Mississippi State, the Bayou Bengals held them to a tight no-score run.
Infielder Karli Petty scored the home run that gave LSU the big lead and built their momentum. With a final score of 10-4, LSU now leads the series 2-0.
The teams meet for a final game Sunday at 2 p.m.
