LSU Baseball kicked off the postseason with a strong 10-3 win over the South Carolina Gamecocks on May 24 in the first round of the SEC Tournament.
However, they then lost their next two games in the following days to Arkansas and Texas A&M both with a score of 5-4.
Despite their elimination in the SEC Tournament, the Tigers will continue the postseason in the Baton Rouge Regional.
The Bayou Bengals earned the title of No. 5 National Seed and their first opponent is unranked Tulane.
The Tigers and the Green Wave will face off on June 2 in Alex Box Stadium.
If LSU claims victory over Tulane, it would go on to host the winner of Oregon State and Sam Houston on June 3.
Winning the Baton Rouge Regional would cement the Purple and Gold as the host of the winner of the Lexington Regional.
