LSU Football had their first day of full pads at Fall Camp Wednesday.
The tight ends group is standing out early, and offensive coordinator Joe Sloan plans to get them more involved in his offensive schemes this season.
LSU’s offensive line has not missed a beat since the spring, with the one-on-one drills showing off the same poise and aggressiveness that made them one of the best lines in the country last year.
The line also returns all of its starters from last year, with the exception of redshirt freshman center DJ Chester.
The wide receivers also got some reps, with Kyren Lacy continuing to prove why he deserves the No. 1 spot.
Chris Hilton Jr. and CJ Daniels have emerged as the No. 2 and No. 3 guys, but the wide receiver room is deep. Younger players such as Aaron Anderson and Kyle Parker have also shown promise during camp.
The Tigers have a rest day Thursday and then get back to work on Friday.
