LSU wide receiver CJ Daniels intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal for the 2025 season, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Daniels, who has only played just one season at LSU, was unable to match his previous career high statistics.
In the 2024 football season, he recorded 42 receptions for 480 yards, averaging 11.4 yards per catch. Daniels had zero touchdowns.
Daniels will now be seeking his third school in his collegiate football career when he enters the NCAA transfer portal. The wide receiver began his collegiate career at Liberty University and spent only one season at LSU but struggled to reach the production levels he had hoped for.
Coming into college as a member of the class of 2020, Daniels was a three-star recruit out of Lilburn, Georgia. He was ranked as the No. 226 overall prospect in Georgia. Daniels was also the No. 353 wide receiver in the nation.

LSU defensive end Da’Shawn Womack has also announced that he plans to enter his name into the transfer portal for the 2025 season, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Rated as a 5-star recruit and the No. 1 overall player in the state of Maryland, Womack was also considered a top 40 player nationally before officially finalizing his commitment to LSU.
As a true freshman, Womack made his impact mostly on third-down situations and in certain defensive packages and schemes. He recorded 13 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery.
This season, Womack has had an even more diminished role and has struggled mightily to live up to the major expectations made based on his impressive high school ranking.
Appearing in the team’s first eight games, Womack finished with seven tackles and one sack. It should be noted, he did not play in the last three games.
Wherever his next destination may be, Womack will have two years remaining of eligibility.
Hopefully with a change of scenery, this new chapter will allow for the impressive defensive-edge rusher to return to his former spectacular performances.

LSU safety Jordan Allen has officially announced his plans to enter the transfer portal for the 2025 season, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
As a standout defensive back at Lafayette Christian Academy, the three-star cornerback helped lead his team to a Division III state championship and boast a 10-1 record.
Ranked as the No. 20 overall prospect from the state of Louisiana, Allen was part of Head Coach Brian Kelly’s first signing class at LSU.
Over the course of three seasons, the talented safety has recorded 22 total tackles (11 of them solo), 1.5 tackles for loss, and a pass deflection.
Providing support in the secondary after injuries depleted the Tiger’s defensive backs throughout the 2023 season, Allen is looking to find more opportunities at his next school.
Allen will have two years of eligibility remaining.
