LSU Softball players Sydney Berzon, Taylor Pleasants, and Ciara Briggs spoke to the media Wednesday ahead of opening day.

“I think we all complement each other really well,” Berzon said about the team’s chemistry this year.

As more experienced players, Pleasants and Briggs highlighted how important it is that they have a good relationship with their younger teammates.

“Just being able to all use each other, all lean on each other, we’ve all been in all these spots; so, it’s a good conversation to have,” Pleasants said.

LSU Softball opens the season on Thursday, Feb. 8 against Nicholls.
