LSU Gymnastics held their Senior Night ceremonies Friday night after their final meet of the regular season.
To end the season, the No. 2 ranked Tigers beat North Carolina 198.250 to 196.075.
However, this meet was about more than scores and rankings. It was all about the seniors.
“It’s a tremendous group, whether they’re fourth, fifth, or sixth years,” Head Coach Jay Clark said of his senior class.
Fifth-year senior Kiya Johnson got hit with the emotions a little harder than she was expecting.
“This place has literally meant the world to me for the last five years,” Johnson said as she reflected on her last meet in the PMAC.
The Tigers will now prepare for the SEC Championship in New Orleans. LSU will be in Session Two at 7 p.m. on March 23.
