LSU Softball lost their second game of the season to Ole Miss by a score of 9 to 2. This marks the team’s first series loss this year.

The Tigers struggled to get the bats going all night, despite a video-board-breaking-homer from Taylor Pleasants. The Tigers had just five hits total.

The Rebels, on the other hand, ran up the score consistently. They had at least one run in four out of seven innings, including a five-run sixth inning performance.

The Tigers will now gear up for their next series against Missouri, starting on Friday, March 22.
