LSU Baseball head coach Jay Johnson spoke to the media after a 5-1 win over Ole Miss in game one of the weekend series.
The Tigers earned the victory despite a weather delay in the bottom of the sixth inning.
“We would’ve sent Gage back out for the seventh,” Johnson when asked if the delay affected his pitching plans. “Other than that, no.”
LSU will face Ole Miss again on Friday at noon in game two. The Tigers need to sweep the Rebels to get to 13 SEC wins and give them the best chance of making the postseason.
