LSU Head Football Coach Brian Kelly spoke to the media after the first day of fall training camp.

Kelly was very positive about the 2024-2025 team and praised their effort on Day 1 of camp. He spoke very highly of wide receiver Karen Lacy, emphasizing the leadership and ambition he has shown since the end of last season.

“He’s embraced that and wants to be that next great wide receiver at LSU,” Kelly said.

Kelly also spoke about the roles of young players like tight end Trey’Dez Green and cornerback PJ Woodland, as well as the current status of Javien Toviano.
