Democratic State Rep. Larry Selders has won the District 14 Special Primary Election for state Senate, defeating Democrats Carolyn Hill and Quentin Anthony Anderson with 62% of the vote.
He will succeed Rep. Cleo Fields, who won election to the U.S. House of Representatives in November.
