With the LSU Men’s Basketball team ending their seven game losing streak, there is still a lot to be done on the team. Many wonder if they are as good as they were at the beginning of the season.
“I think for us to keep getting better, I think the last four games our ball security has gotten better,” Head Coach Matt McMahon said.
One player was on everybody’s minds after their game against Oklahoma, Cam Carter. LSU beat Oklahoma 82-79, Carter made 29 of those points.
“He hit big shots, the first four point play was big,” McMahon said.
Another quality about Carter, outside of being a key component to the team, is how well he praises his teammates even after having an electric night.
“He made it all about the team and even praised Daimion Collins,” Head Coach McMahon said.
The Tigers still have a lot to prove after such an upsetting last seven games, but with a win against Oklahoma, it might give the Tigers the confidence they need as they prepare to take on South Carolina on Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the PMAC.
